Frequently Asked Questions

My child's sleep patterns have changed. As my Gymbaroo class no longer suits, what are my options now?

We understand that a baby’s sleep pattern is constantly changing. If space permits in another class that fits in with the newly acquired sleep pattern, you are more than welcome to change classes.

My child has been offered a spot in child care, or my work days have changed, what are my options as I have enrolled for the term?

If space permits in another class that fits in with your changed schedule, you are more than welcome to change classes.

Am I able to bring my other child(ren) along?

We so allow siblings to attend our classes as spectators, but not as an active participants in the class activities. We do encourage parents to bring along an item to entertain their child during our classes, and at no time, are the siblings allowed on the equipment due to safety and insurance reasons.

Can I book after a term has commenced, or for part of a term?

If you are going away, or are aware that you can't commit to a full term, you can book for part of a term - which is charged on a pro-rata basis. You need to email us on mosmangymbaroo@gmail.com to advise that you are enrolling for part of the term and the price will be confirmed by return email. Please note that we do not refund or transfer fees once payment has been received during the term.

Which class should I choose for my non-crawling baby?

As a general rule, if your baby is 7 to 12 months of age, you should book into a Crawler class whether your baby is crawling, creeping or not mobile.  If your baby is 2  to 5 months of age and not rolling and not confident in tummy time, you should book them into a Non-Mobile Baby class.  If your baby is 5 to 7 months of age, is rolling and confident in tummy time, you should enrol them into a Pre-Crawler Baby class.  If you are not sure, please email or phone us, and our professional staff will assess the best option for your baby.

What happens if I miss a class?

You can make up your missed class anytime during the term. You are entitled to 2 make-up classes during the course of the current term.  A maximum of 2 clients are booked into a class for their make up's, on top of a capped number per class to ensure manageable class sizes. Therefore, please ensure you book in to do your make up's as soon as possible to avoid disappointment due to high demand in the final 2 weeks of term.

Can I try a class before I enrol?

Mosman Gymbaroo offers 1 free trial for all our Baby and Crawler classes.  Please contact us by email or phone to book into a class. Please note that classes marked RED on the timetable are full and therefore you cannot attend one of these classes as a trial.

Can I come on a casual basis?

You can attend a class casually, but only classes that are marked orange or green on our timetable. Red Classes are already full. Attending casually is the most expensive way to attend Gymbaroo, as a casual fee is $35 cash.

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds or transfers of fees to another term, unless a special or unforeseen circumstance, that has been discussed and agreed upon with management. Under these circumstances a $30 administration fee for cancellations will apply.
